Plinko is a drop game. You set your stake, pick a risk level and, on most versions, the number of rows, then let a ball go at the top of a board full of pegs. It bounces its way down and lands in one of the slots along the bottom, and that slot decides your multiplier.
Most balls finish somewhere near the middle, so the middle slots pay the least and the edges pay the most. Turn the risk up and that gap gets wider: the edges pay more, the middle pays less. More rows mean more bounces and more places the ball can land.
